The Grupo Jorge Foundation and San Jorge University (USJ) have joined forces to launch the “Grupo Jorge Foundation Chair for Integration and Sustainable Development”. This project's main goals are to promote inter-generational education and develop joint research and analysis.

As part of this initiative, the University of San Jorge will carry out several activities. Foremost among these is the Digital Mentoring +50 program, which will offer scholarships to junior students of the university to act as mentors for USJ Senior students; a strategy that seeks to promote inter-generational learning and collaboration.

In addition, a cultural and training program will begin in the town of Zuera, one of Grupo Jorge’s headquarters. This program will include conferences, seminars, and educational sessions, as well as specific workshops for women in areas such as technology, entrepreneurial skills, health, and the development of emotional intelligence.

In the field of architecture, a ‘Battle of Ideas’ will be organized for students of this degree, focused on social, environmental and economic sustainability. The selected projects will be exhibited in Zuera, accompanied by a study day on sustainable development, with the participation of different professionals in the field.

With this latest development, the Grupo Jorge Foundation now promotes two University Chairs, which will allow it to reinforce its commitment and desire to positively influence the environment in which its companies operate. In this article you can consult all the activities of the Grupo Jorge Foundation Chair for Talent and Innovation.

Likewise, this collaboration increases the commitment of the USJ Senior program to continuing to train its students practically and creatively, in line with society’s needs.
